16 panel exhibition, historic photographs, model railway layout, historic signage, engine shed architect drawings, and more.

Exhibition Closes on Sunday 12th October 

With a history talk by local railway history on Saturday 11th at the Guildhall.

I'm delighted to be working with  Southeastern Railway , The Seaside Museum , Herne Bay, and  Whitstable Museum , to bring you two exhibitions celebrating 200 years of railway history and development, from The Canterbury & Whitstable Railway being given Royal Assent, and the first passenger train on the Stockton & Darlington Railway, to the modern day. There will be a host of associated events including history walks, guided tours, documentary screenings, heritage walks, and cycle rides incorporating  Crab & Winkle Line Trust ,  Spokes East Kent Cycle Group , and  East Kent Model Railway Society . Our events will start with the opening of our three month Herne Bay and Kent Coast Railway 200 exhibition, at the Seaside Museum from 12th April.
