Great News, Whitstable Museum have extended Southeastern Railway 200 exhibition until Saturday 2nd August . On the 10th June 1825, an Act of Parliament to construct the Canterbury & Whitstable Railway recieved Royal Assent. Come and discover the history of the first railway to carry passengers by steam hauled trains as part of a regular service. Plus a special feature on the Whitstable Town station.
