Herne Bay & Whitstable Railway 200 events

  Celebrating 200 years of rail travel. On the 10th June 1825, an Act of Parliament to construct the Canterbury & Whitstable Railway recieved Royal Assent. Come and discover the history of the first railway to carry passengers by steam hauled trains as part of a regular service.  Plus a special feature on the Whitstable Town station.
